Quick & easy. The new modern building is gorgeous. I am proud of how the city used local plants & not wasting water on grass like other government buildings in our town.

Some of the most important lessons I ever learned were at City Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Council meetings are a lesson each session. We talk about the issues, events, and activities as far away as Missouri, Illinois, and Nebraska, when I travel for work with the government. Yohan Lowie and the Badlands Golf Deal is a lesson for every college law school.

Vegas is definitely one of my happy places. Good food, good drinks, good eye candy. It's a place for the adults. A giant playground of awesome.

I went yesterday to drop off my ballot in the secure box. I parked in the garage next door and was given a UPC to scan to validate my parking

Well, ain't it a sight for sore eyes! Las Vegas, known for its glitz and vice, went and unanimously approved the Lone Mountain Temple. It's mighty surprising that in a city so often seen as worldly and wicked, they'd back a place teaching good ol' morals. Meanwhile, over in so-called God-fearing towns like Cody, WY, and McKinney, TX, they're busy trying to shut down religious buildings left and right. It's a real head-scratcher how these stiff-necked folks can't see the light, while Sin City itself rides tall in the saddle of acceptance and freedom. 🤠 💒🇺🇲

2. Metal detector check: "anything in your pockets? what's in your bag?" May get patdown or frisked or wanded.

Public spaces should look to DTLV City Hall for the high bar it achieves in architecture blended with solar arrays and stunning ecologically responsible landscaping.

I really enjoy attending meetings here at City Hall. The venue is clean, especially the restrooms, and meeting rooms are large and well equipped for audio visual presentations. I park in the garage across the street and walk over, usually takes about 10 minutes, so plan ahead. Since parking does cost after a period of time, the meetings usually have some validation and then I pay the remainder when I leave via the machine. The building is secure and includes guards who run people through a machine and check inside my purse. Takes just a few moments to enter.
